Anthony Demarco has been named president, partner and general manager of the new Biddulph Arrowhead Oldsmobile-Isuzu dealership in Peoria, Ariz. He had been general manager and general sales manager at Pitre Buick-Pontiac-GMC in Albuquerque, N.M. The dealership is part of the Biddulph Automotive Group, which operates three dealerships in suburban Phoenix.
Nine Oldsmobile dealer marketing groups have hired Dallas-based Moroch and Associates to handle their advertising, marketing and promotions. The marketing groups are based in Nashville, Tenn.; Bowling Green, Ky.; McAllen/Brownsville, Texas; Denver; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Los Angeles; San Diego; Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Gary Stanford and Paul Stanford, co-owners of Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn, Mich., have donated one year's free lease of a 1997 Corvette to the winner of a fund-raiser for the Salvation Army. The Corvette winner was Don Griffin of Romeo, Mich., whose name was drawn from those who donated $120 or more to the 11th annual Bed for Bread Telethon held in March in Southeast Michigan. Les Stanford Chevrolet employees donated $3,400, and the Stanfords added another $3,400. The telethon raised $567,395.
