Chrysler Corp. has extended its customer incentives until July 6 with virtually no changes in rebate amounts from the program that ended April 6.
The big change is on the finance side. Chrysler, like General Motors and Ford Motor Co., is offering a choice of 1.9 percent financing or the cash payments.
Oldsmobile also is in the 1.9 percent camp. Until June 30, it offers those terms on all its car and truck nameplates except the fleet-only Achieva. Customer cash of $1,000 to $2,000 is available on the Eighty Eight, LSS, Regency, Aurora, Silhouette and Bravada.
Ditto for Buick on 1.9 percent loans until June 30. Customer rebates on 1998 Buicks range from $1,000 to $2,000 on the Riviera, Park Avenue and LeSabre.
Isuzu is paying rebates to dealers on deliveries of 1997 and 1998 models through May 31. The payments are $750 to $1,500 on the 1998 Rodeo, Trooper and Hombre and $1,000 to $2,000 on the 1997 Rodeo, Trooper, Hombre and Oasis.
