NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Saturn Corp. has given 46 of its suppliers the Saturn Outstanding Achievement Recognition Award for their performance in product quality and on-time delivery.
The awards were given in addition to Saturn Quality Recognition Awards, which went to 185 of the automaker's material and service suppliers this year.
According to Saturn's guidelines for the Outstanding Achievement award, a supplier must have a zero-parts-per-million defect rate for the year, and have no production downtime.
