Ford's 1998 Crown Victoria, shown in this unauthorized photo, gets extensive styling changes, including a new chrome grille and larger headlights. The full-sized sedan also receives a more formal roofline, borrowed from the Mercury Grand Marquis. The Crown Victoria's new thrusting grille replaces the painted oval air intake, which was reminiscent of the front end of past Taurus models. The new headlights will offer brighter and more extensive coverage than the narrower versions they replace.
