A Late News item on Page 2 of the June 16 issue contained inaccurate information from the National Automobile Dealers Association about changes in eligibility requirements for NADA's board of directors. Directors whose dealerships are bought out by public companies must resign as directors and a special election will be held to replace them. They will be eligible to run in the next regular election.
An article on Page 4 of the June 16 issue incorrectly described the formation of American Axle & Manufacturing Inc. The company was created from five plants that were spun off by General Motors' Saginaw Division, now Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems.
