A story on Page 16 of the June 16 issue incorrectly described Smart Choice Automotive Group Inc.'s relationship with Imperial Auto Auction in Lakeland, Fla. Smart Choice has leased a former Imperial site. In February 1996, Imperial moved two miles from that site, where it is still operating as a Manheim auction.
A list on Page 18i in some editions of the June 9 issue misspelled HydroDynamic Technologies Inc., a hydroformer in Auburn Hills, Mich.
An Automotive News Europe story on Page 6 of the June 9 edition of Automotive News mischaracterized the new Saab 9-5. The car is not a hatchback. In addition, the story misrepresented Saab's marketing plans. The company will not continue to sell the current 9000 model alongside the 9-5 until the turn of the century. The 9000 will be discontinued in the U.S. market at the end of 1997.
