Four veteran automotive marketers will discuss the fine points of marketing luxury automobiles to women at the 1997 Marketing to Women Congress. The event is scheduled June 16-17 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.
Panelists include Helge Alton, president of Volvo Cars of North America Inc.; Victor Doolan, president of BMW of North America Inc.; Janet Eckhoff, Cadillac DeVille brand manager; and James Press, general manager of Lexus Division.
The panel will be moderated by Edward Lapham, executive editor of Automotive News.
Other sessions at the two-day conference will examine creating brand equity among women, choosing media to reach women, automotive career opportunities for women and improving the buying experience for women.
The conference is sponsored by MacDonald Communications Corp., which publishes WorkingWoman, WorkingMother and Ms. magazines.
