Mercedes-Benz said it will end production of its limited edition, high-performance C36 sports sedan this month, as originally planned. The C36 was introduced in North America during the 1995 model year with output of 1,000 units planned over three years. The C36 is based on the C280 sedan and extensively modified by Germany's AMG to include a 3.6-liter engine, larger brakes and sport suspension with low-profile 17-inch wheels.
