KIA MOTORS AMERICA INC. - Jim Reilly has been named central region manager. He will be based in Chicago. He was general manager for the Olympic Auto Group.
DELPHI AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS - William Muir was appointed executive director of planning, a new position. He was executive-in-charge of operations. Delphi Automotive Systems is based in Pontiac, Mich., and supplies components and systems.
LEAR CORP. - Brian Maynard has been promoted to vice president of quality assurance for the Ford Division. He was director of quality assurance for the division. Lear is based in Southfield, Mich., and supplies interior systems.
UNITED TECHNOLOGIES CORP. - Ruth Harkin has been named senior vice president of international affairs and government relations. She will also serve as chair of United Technologies International. She was president and CEO of the Overseas Private Investment Corp.
United Technologies, based in Hartford, Conn., provides high technology products and support services to the automotive industry. It is the parent of United Technologies Automotive.
KARL SCHMIDT UNISIA INC. - Donald Cameron has been named director of sales. He was an account manager for automotive sales.
Karl Schmidt Unisia, based in Southfield, Mich., is a joint venture between Kolbenschmidt AG of Germany and Unisia Jecs Corp. of Japan. It supplies pistons for gasoline and diesel engines.
AXIS GROUP INC. - The company has announced two appointments.
Paul Gates was named vice president of operations, responsible for logistics system design, new business implementation and operations management. He was director of operations for new national accounts for Ryder Dedicated Logistics.
Michael Hendrixson was named director of marketing development. He was a sales executive for Ryder Dedicated Logistics.
The Axis Group, based in Decatur, Ga., provides logistics for the auto industry.
UNION CITY BODY CO. - Michael Jones was appointed vice president of sales and marketing. He was director of fleet sales for the Utilimaster Division of Harley-Davidson Inc. Union City Body Co., based in Union City, Ind., supplies transportation products and services to truck fleets, and produces forward control van bodies.
SEQUA CORP. - Howard Huelsman was elected a corporate vice president. He is president and general manager of Casco Products Corp., a subsidiary of Sequa.
Casco, in Bridgeport, Conn., supplies cigarette lighters, power outlets and electronic components for cars, vans and trucks.
EAGLE OTTAWA LEATHER CO. - Isaac Radzinski has been named COO, responsible for operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He was a senior vice president.
Fraser MacKenzie was named CEO, responsible for operations in the United Kingdom and South Africa. He was vice president of sales in Europe and South Africa, and project manager of value analysis/value engineering worldwide.
Michael Young was named vice president of North American sales. He was vice president of American National Rubber.

ADESA CORP. - Richard Hanson was named northern auctions regional manager. He was vice president of operations for Lease Plan USA Inc.
George Vaffis was appointed general manager of the Bradenton, Fla., auction. He was assistant general manager at St. Pete Auto Auction in Clearwater, Fla.
