LED light Source Module

Ichikoh has developed a LED socket (called MonoLED) that can be inserted into a lightening assembly without needing an enclosure. To make the socket viable, Ichikoh created a heat radiation socket using carbon containing resin, resulting in 45% lower cost than standard LED lighting units, 91% smaller in size, 31% lower power consumption, and most importantly, an LED that fits into a traditional automotive bulb socket. The Ichikoh LED socket approach is gaining market share because it is lower cost and because the thermal management solution allows more flexibility in a small form factor.
