Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne confirmed that production of the Ram 1500 pickup would move about 10 miles north to FCA's Sterling Heights Assembly Plant from the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in suburban Detroit. The move would coincide with the start of production of the next-generation Ram 1500 in early 2018, he said.
