Galpin Auto Sports' success shows that accessories sales can be a big source of profit and aid to vehicle purchases for dealerships and automakers. A new study by the consulting firm Carlisle & Co. of Concord, Mass., reports that 91 percent of dealerships say they are "actively involved" in selling accessories, up from 84 percent in 2007.
