While that percentage gain was the second-highest of the year, the results marked a setback for the industry's recovery. Subaru jumps 25% on new Forester

The company said it was the best April in its history, with sales of 32,943 vehicles. For the first four months, Subaru sales rose 17 percent compared with a year earlier to 125,470 units.
