Jaguar Land Rover has signed a letter of intent to build a new car plant in Nitra, western Slovakia, turning down locations in the U.S. and Mexico. JLR will carry out a feasibility study for the factory, which is expected to open in 2018 and reach an annual output of up to 300,000 vehicles by 2025.
