Based on the success of the Automotive News Europe EUROSTARS event honoring the leaders of the automotive industry, it was decided to implement a new yearly program honoring those automotive executives in middle and upper management who are likely to become the 'Eurostars' of tomorrow, together with the companies who are nurturing that future leadership talent. These 'Rising Stars' are already setting the agenda for the industry of tomorrow and stand to reap the biggest rewards over the next decade

In 2015 the Rising Stars came from all disciplines - designers, engineers, financial bosses, purchasing and product planners - and from companies across Europe, including Audi, Faurecia, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and Renault just to name a few.

Who can become a Rising Star?

A ‘Rising Star’ is an automotive executive with a pan-European profile and currently based in Europe, distinguished for having driven change, fostered innovation and made courageous decisions. To qualify, candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of work experience, have multiple language skills and be 45 years or younger on 1st January, 2016

A candidate may nominate him/herself or be nominated by a colleague, manager or mentor via this website or directly via the Automotive News Europe editorial team.

You may nominate more than one candidate.

The jury selects the finalists and the Rising Stars in the following categories
