Hackett sought to 'push the edges' of automaker's office design

Ford CEO Jim Hackett stopped a planned 10-year Dearborn campus renovation to give it a 'much healthier' design. The project eventually included the establishment of an autonomous vehicle development campus in Detroit, anchored by a long-blighted train station.
