Toyota, pressed to innovate, cuts marketing outlays to fuel r&d

Toyota has begun slashing costs, starting with sales and marketing, and shifting resources into research that will help it keep up with new competitors, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter.


FCA's plan: Fresh products in hot segments

If FCA's five-year forecast comes to pass, dealers will get products including a new three-row Jeep Grand Cherokee, a midsize Ram pickup, several new or updated Alfa Romeos, a Tesla-fighting Maserati coupe and a midsize Maserati plug-in hybrid crossover.
