Sales edge down but SAAR soars to 17.81 million

Record Jeep, Ram pickup demand push FCA up 1.7%

Record Jeep and Ram pickup volume pushed Fiat Chrysler's U.S. sales up 1.7 percent in August, offsetting stiff drops at the Dodge and Chrysler brands.
