Kia K900 spy photosJuly 18
Kia's next K900 sedan has been spotted undergoing road tests in Death Valley. While the rear-wheel-drive sedan has not been the sales success Kia targeted, the company is sticking with the large luxury car with a second-generation model due for 2019. Photos reveal new front-end styling that matches the production version of the Stinger rear-drive sport sedan, which will share a number of components with the K900. The K900 will also receive an upgraded interior and Lexicon audio system, along with more modern materials and finishes for the metallic trim and woods. Power is expected to be supplied by turbocharged V-6 and V-8 engines borrowed from Hyundai Motor Co.'s Genesis lineup and the Stinger GT. A new 10-speed automatic transmission may also be introduced with the K900. All-wheel drive will likely be an option. Kia is expected to introduce the 2019 K900 sometime in 2018.
