The new Opel/Vauxhall Insignia has a longer and lower look than the current model. Its wheelbase has been extended by 92 mm, giving it a more spacious interior. The midsize car will be called the Insignia Grand Sport.

Nissan engineers are evaluating an extended cab variant of the Titan full-size pickup, based on a prototype spotted recently in Metro Detroit. The redesigned, second-generation Titan was launched with a crew cab, followed by a single cab variant. The prototype shows no signs of a rear exterior door handle, so it appears that Nissan is going the way of the Ford F-150, with a rear-hinged access door instead of a truncated front-hinged door favored by General Motors, FCA's Ram brand, and Toyota Motor Corp.
