How does the Best Dealerships program work?
Once registered, Best Companies Group, the organization that manages the Best Dealerships program, will walk participants through a simple yet thorough two-part dealership assessment. In part one, the employer completes a questionnaire about dealership policies, practices and demographics. In part two, employees rate 78 statements on a five point agreement scale, and respond to 2 open-ended and 7 demographic questions. The collected information will be used to produce a detailed set of data enabling the analysts to determine the strengths and opportunities of each.
Upon completion of the program, every dealership will receive a FREE Employer Benchmark Summary, a sample of averages on standard employee benefits and best practices, and a great tool to help benchmark some of the most common benefits offered compared to those of your organization.
Those dealerships named among the best will be profiled in an October 16 Automotive News special section, celebrated during a gala event October 12 in Chicago and will have earned the right to call themselves the Best Dealerships To Work For of 2017!
Who can participate?
Any new car dealership in Canada or the U.S. that's been in business for more than one year, and has more than 25 employees, may participate in the program. But to be considered, you must register before March 31, 2017.
