    BMW Vision Future Luxury concept

    BMW's Vision Future Luxury concept car closely previews a new brand flagship that will go on sale in global markets called the 9 series. The production version is expected in 2016 as a rival to the S600 Maybach, a top-end version of the S-class sedan, which Mercedes-Benz will debut at the Guangzhou and the Los Angeles auto shows in November. The 9 series will be BMW's largest model with a length of about 5500mm (216 inches), about 280mm more than the long-wheelbase 7 series.     Rolls-Royce Pinnacle Travel Phantom

    The Pinnacle Travel Phantom includes 230 individual pieces of marquetry that combine to create the motif of a cross-continental train speeding across a landscape with plumes of steam left in its wake. This motif flows across the front-fascia pieces of glove box and passenger panel to the rear picnic tables and door cappings.     The DS 5LS R Concept boasts a 1.6-litre turbo petrol, 300-hp engine. The chassis has been lowered by 15mm, compared to the production version and the concept has wider front tracks and a sequential gearbox, controlled by paddles behind the steering wheel. High-precision development has been applied to the chassis, brakes and suspension, while the focus on performance is visually underscored by the extensive use of carbon fibre components.     The four-wheel drive Golf R 400 offers a zero to 62 mph time of just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 174 mph. As well as a series of engine modifications to increase power from the Golf R hatchback, the R 400 features body and bumper modifications, flared wheelarches, uprated wheels and a reworked interior that includes motorsport shell seats with integral head restraints and belt openings.     Volkswagen has refreshed its premium SUV. The front-end design of the Touareg features larger headlights (now bi-xenon as standard across the range), a deeper new radiator grille with four instead of two horizontal fins and a reprofiled bumper. At the rear as at the front, the redesigned bumper lends the Touareg a wider look than before, with a new rear diffuser between the twin tailpipes and LED rear foglights integrated in the bumper.     Volvo's S60L PPHEV(Petrol Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is a petrol plug-in hybrid that Volvo says is an electric car, hybrid car and high-performance car all rolled into one, which "offers the driver an outstanding combination of dynamic driving pleasure and superb fuel economy."
