Ferrari supercar to start at 1 million euros, sources say

The pre-tax starting price for Ferrari's next supercar will be about 1 million euros, people familiar to the matter told Automotive News Europe. Volume is expected to be limited to 499 units, sources said, which is 100 more than the Enzo.

Chevy shoots for rwd glory with 415-hp, V-8 SS performance sedan

Chevrolet is returning to its roots with the 2014 SS, the brand's first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan since the mid-1990s and a challenger to Chrysler Group's Charger and 300 SRT models. The SS will produce 415 horsepower and cover 0 to 60 mph in about 5 seconds, GM says.

Hyundai, seeking more performance cred, readies Nuerburgring test center

Hyundai has begun construction of a vehicle test center at Germany's famous Nuerburgring race track as the automaker seeks to lift its brand profile in Europe. The new facility, which will open in June, will be used to test all vehicles designed specifically for the European auto market.
