Asbury Q2 net income falls 11%

Asbury Automotive Group's net income in the second quarter dropped 11 percent to $36.7 million, the company said today as both new- and used-vehicle sales dropped. Revenue dipped 4 percent to $1.627 billion. Asbury said the drop was due mainly to “strategic divestitures” of select dealerships in the second half of 2015.
