Ford estimates profit will fall to $9 billion this year

Ford expects a pretax profit of about $9 billion in 2017, down from 2016's pretax profit of $10.4 billion. It had previously said it expected a lower profit because of investments in mobility services, but had not given a dollar figure until it submitted a filing with the SEC.
