GM posts $3.25 billion loss in Q1, stock risesGeneral Motors today lowered its estimate for U.S. total industry vehicle sales for 2008 after it reported a net loss of $3.25 billion during the first quarter. TRW posts quarterly profit, raises outlookSupplier TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. boosted its estimates for 2008 earnings after reporting a first-quarter revenue increase. The supplier of electronics and safety systems posted first-quarter net income of $94 million on revenue of $4.1 billion.
