Continental names veteran exec Cramer as China head

German supplier Continental has named veteran executive Ralf Cramer to head its operations in China, which it sees as the main driver of its growing business in Asia. The company says it gets around 18 percent of its sales from Asia and wants to increase this proportion to more than 30 percent. Read More »

Former Chrysler exec Hausch joins Nissan Europe

Chrysler's former Europe chief, Thomas Hausch, will head Nissan's operations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Hausch started the role with the Japanese automaker on May 1. A German national, Hausch, 47, brings more than 20 years of executive-level experience in the automotive industry to the job.
