Peugeot 908 RC
The 908 RC supercar showcases Peugeot's diesel technology and reveals styling cues for the 608, the brand's next-generation range-topping car. With its aggressive-looking front end and a pronounced hood that tapers to a pointed nose, the 908 RC is designed to look like a big cat. Company insiders say the concept's strong hips over the rear wheels will be used on the 608, which is expected to replace the 607 large sedan in 2008. The concept's 700hp, 5.5-liter, V-12 diesel engine with two particulate filters will power a racing version of the car that will compete in next year's 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in France.
