2007 GMC Yukon
The new Yukon will launch with a 5.3-liter V-8 rated at 320 hp and equipped with cylinder deactivation technology to improve fuel economy. GMC expects a combined city/highway fuel economy rating of 20.1 mpg for the four-wheel-drive Yukon and 20.5 mpg for the 2wd version. A flex-fuel version of that engine, which can run on E85 ethanol fuel, will be standard on 4wd Yukons. It has the same horsepower and fuel economy ratings as the gasoline version of the 5.3-liter V-8. Standard equipment will include anti-lock brakes, stability control and 17-inch wheels. The Denali has 18-inch wheels standard, with 20-inch wheels as an option for all Yukons.
