Removable hardtop
What it is: Removable hardtop for the Pontiac Solstice
Who did it: EDAG Engineering & Design Inc.
Why it is important: Pontiac needs an optional removable hardtop for the Solstice to increase the car's appeal and meet Sports Car Club of America racing rules. The 130-pound fiberglass top gives the Solstice a different look. The curved rear glass is reminiscent of classic 1950s Pontiac wagons.
