2007 Cadillac Escalade
Under the hood of the 2007 Escalade is an all-aluminum, 6.2-liter V-8 rated at 403 hp. The engine is equipped with variable valve timing and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. A full suite of safety technology is standard on the new Cadillac. It includes stability control, antilock brakes, traction control, side curtain airbags and pretensioners for the front seat belts. Sensors to trigger the pretensioners are located on the front, rear and sides of the Escalade.
