Audi Roadjet concept
Type of vehicle: Tall five-door hatchback
What's cool: Interior divided into four passenger zones, each with an individual entertainment screen. Sound comes from a 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen amplifier powering 14 speakers. All occupants can converse even when the vehicle is traveling at high speed with the aid of a technology called Digital Voice Support. The Roadjet is the first to get Audi's seven-speed Direct Shift Gearbox. In case drivers get sleepy, the Roadjet even has an espresso maker.
Production possibility: Though Audi executives declined to say whether a decision has been made on Roadjet production, they did point to the last three concepts they've shown: The Pikes Peak, LeMans and Nuvolari. All three are either in production or on their way respectively as the Q7, R8 and an unnamed coupe.
Designer: Walter de Silva
