2007 Mercedes-Benz R63 AMG
We saw this as the thinly disguised Vision R "concept" at the Paris show in 2004, but this marks the official debut of the 2007 Mercedes-Benz R63 AMG. R63 uses the new naturally aspirated 6.3-liter, 503-hp, 465-lb-ft, V8 AMG motor (the new base AMG V8 motor that replaces the 5.4-liter supercharged unit). The engine is the first completely developed by AMG, sharing no parts with other Mercedes V8s. All that grunt runs through a seven-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive to 19-inch wheels. Look for 0-60 mph in 5.0-seconds.
