Rob Chapman previously served as the Chairman of the Technical Task Force of the Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles, a collaboration of the Big-3 auto manufacturers and the U.S. Government during the Clinton administration. Subsequently, he was President of Electromotive, Inc., an engine components supplier. He has been a consultant with the RAND Corporation since 1997. Also, he is a judge for Automotive News’ PACE Award for innovation in the automotive supply chain. Chapman earlier held a series of executive positions at AlliedSignal (now named Honeywell International) culminating in Vice President, Government Programs. Prior to that he served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Advanced Research Projects Agency, the National Academy of Sciences and the Research Department of Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics Corporation.
