97.7 WCSA Classic Rock

For more than 18 years, 94.7 WCSX has delivered Classic Rock to the Motor City. WCSX’s stellar line up includes Classic Jocks Jim (JJ) Johnson, Lynne Woodison, Karen Savelly, Ken Calvert, Steve Kostan, Alice Cooper, Little Steven, Paul Buck, Mark Pasman and Pam Rossi. As part of our Live & Local commitment to our community, for the past four years, JJ and Lynne’s Stone Soup Project has harnessed the generosity, expertise and ingenuity of WCSX listeners from the Detroit area to rebuild Classic vehicles from the ground up to raise money for The Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. In the first three years, the project raised over $600,000 by rebuilding and raffling off a 1967 Mustang, 1970 Hemi Roadrunner and 1965 GTO convertible. This year’s Stone Soup Project will rebuild a 1947 Dodge pick up into a one of a kind, world class hot rod. Follow the project online at www.WCSX.com
