Douglas Ober, a Managing Director at BNY Asset Management is currently responsible for the firm’s Institutional Client Development efforts throughout the Midwest . He was formerly responsible for the Bank of New York’s Midwest Corporate Division, which included a heavy concentration of North American auto manufacturers and automotive suppliers. His activities included domestic and foreign financing for both OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, as well as strategic advisory services and financial structuring. He has more than 23 years of corporate finance, treasury and international trade experience. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Society of Automotive Analysts. He has focused on the automotive industry since 1991.
