When it comes to trucks, Chevrolet has been saying the same thing over the years.
That was the message from the latest video to join our viral video charts, Chevrolet takes a look back at its truck lineup from the early years to current day through advertisements. It begins by speeding through the changes of the Chevrolet logo before merging various commercials and advertisements in such a way that the same phrases are highlighted whether it be from the 1970s or a recent commercial.
This includes buzz words such as "durable," "rugged," "smooth," and "power."
The timing of this video is no coincidence. Chevrolet is currently commemorating the 100th anniversary of the first Chevy pickup. At the State Fair of Texas last week, Chevrolet unveiled two special edition trucks -- a Silverado and Colorado -- that are dubbed "Centennial Editions."
Chevrolet's spot collected 3,705,026 views, good for second place on the rankings compiled by Visible Measures. Ford's "Head to Head" was once again the top ranked video with 5,222,947 views.
Porsche, Renault and Hyundai also had new videos join the chart this week.
