The 2017 Super Bowl provided an abundance of automaker ads and were well represented in this week’s viral video chart.
Audi’s Super Bowl ad, titled “Daughter,” shows a meaningful moment between a daughter and her father.
In the 60-second spot, a father grapples with the idea of telling his daughter that she would automatically be less valued than every man she ever meets despite her education and drive. But as the ad closes, he comes to the conclusion that maybe he’ll be able to tell her something different.
Audi’s S5 Sportback makes an appearance in the closing seconds of the ad, which was created by Venables Bell & Partners. It ran in the third quarter of the game.
The spot comes in at No. 2 with 9,645,201 views, according to the rankings compiled by Visible Measures.
Mercedes-Benz’s “Easy Driver” stayed at No. 1 this week with 10,087,566 views.
