F&I TIP

Don't ignore job inquiries

Responding to job inquiries now could help F&I managers down the road, says Suzanne Malo of DHG Search, which recruits finance executives for auto dealerships. "If you respectfully respond to the inquiry, that individual may come calling again in, say, five years" as a more experienced professional, she said. Too, your inquiry could be from a current or prospective customer. If you ignore it, "you risk losing business by creating a negative customer experience."
