Skoda has a new spot capturing attention online.
“Fabia Attention Test,” from AIS London for the European carmaker’s bite-size hatchback, leverages aspects of the human mind to perform a trick on the viewer. The single-shot spot focuses on a Skoda Fabia sitting on a street as the narrator details how its “attention-stealing design” may cause passersby to stop and stare.
That doesn’t happen. But as the viewer is watching, small, imperceptible changes are occurring to the scene. Changes so small that the human mind, which prioritizes everything to cut out the clutter, doesn’t even register them. Before you know it ... well, watch the video to find out.
Skoda’s spot tops our list at No. 1 with 2,907,397 views.
Also new this week is Honda’s “The SUV that treats you right,” ranked second by Visible Measures with 1,444,966 views; Porsche’s “Striking Soon,” ranked sixth with 658,589 views; and Toyota’s “Compact Sedan Technology,” ranked ninth with 465,456 views.
