Lexus is getting more and more creative with its marketing, shown by a partnership with Hollywood producers The Weinstein Company to create two short films from new directors.
"Market Hours," from director Jon Goldman, follows a day-dreaming security guard who imagines what goes on inside the heads of the sellers at the market he patrols. While his absent-mindedness threatens his job, it does win him the affection of his crush: the bakery attendant, who watches as the guard saves an escaped dog. The film comes in at No. 2 with 1,019,983 views. Look out for the Lexus cameo at the 5:50 mark.
Also new this week is Ford's "Swap Your Ride," ranked sixth by Visible Measures with 609,480 views; Jeep's "Tales of the Trailhawk 2014," ranked 562,257 views; and Scion's "For the Driven," ranked ninth with 499,122 views.
