Two new entries in our weekly viral video rankings showcase the appeal of speed. Infiniti's 'Chasing the Edge: Speed Is Not Enough" highlights the Q50 Eau Rouge prototype. In it, three professional drivers race for the best track time on a closed course. We won't tell you who wins, but be braced for nearly four minutes of cinematic music and pseudo-inspirational quotes about speed. The race comes in at No. 2 with, 1,336,589 views. BMW took a unique spin on race courses, having 37 enthusiasts take the new M4 through a maze of cars. Spoiler alert: An aerial shot at the end of the video shows the car maze to be a giant "M" arrangement. The spot comes in at No. 9, with 251,414 views. Also new this week: The return of Kia's hamsters, this time dancing to Maroon 5's latest single, "Animals." The consistently viral hamsters are ranked fourth by Visible Measures, with 633,542 views.

Automotive News' Video Traction Chart, powered by Visible Measures, focuses on brand-driven social video ad campaigns. Each campaign is measured by True Reach, an MRC accredited metric that includes views from brand-driven and audience-driven social video clips. The data are compiled using the patented Visible Measures platform, a constantly growing repository of analytic data on hundreds of millions of videos tracked across hundreds of online video destinations.
Note: This analysis does not include Visible Measures' paid-placement (e.g., overlays; pre-, mid-, and post-roll) performance data or video views on private sites. This chart does not include movie trailers, video game campaigns, TV show, or media network promotions. View counts are incremental by week.
**Indicates percent change in views compared with the same period the week before.
