BMW drifted past the competition last week, topping our viral video ranking and beating the No. 2 video by more than 3.6 million views.
"The Epic Driftmob," created by Interone BBDO, touts the handling of BMW's new 2 series with professional drivers drifting in tight patterns along a roundabout. The video drew 4,625,599 views, according to Visible Measures.
Drifting was a theme last week, as Scion also entered our top 10 ranking with another drifting video, "Desert Drifting Baseball," for the 2015 Scion FR-S. The video generated 896,799 views, taking the third slot.
Coming in second with 917,924 views was Nissan's horror film spoof, "Gas Station." The video, crafted by TBWA Toronto, depicts evil gas nozzles attacking an unsuspecting driver, who is saved by a passerby in a Nissan Sentra who, of course, doesn't need to fill up.
Also new this week was Ford's "#PlayYourPart," which came in at No. 5 with 382,486 views.
