Rowe moves to president of from Kelley Blue Book

Jared Rowe, former president of Kelley Blue Book, has been appointed president of, effectively immediately, the two companies said Monday.

Steve Lind, 44, Kelley’s former vice president of operations, has been named president of that company.

Rowe, 40, succeeds Alan Smith, who is leaving to pursue personal interests.

Both and Kelley Blue Book are part of Cox Automotive, owned by Cox Enterprises.

Rowe became president of Kelley Blue Book in 2012. Before joining Kelley, he was vice president of product management at

He earned an MBA at the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business and an undergraduate degree in automotive marketing and management from Northwood University.

Lind joined Kelley in 2012. He earned an MBA at the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business and an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Miami.
