Subaru's Yoshinaga on sustainable growth

July 6, 2014 - 12:01 am ET
Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, president of Subaru parent Fuji Heavy Industries, has watched the brand post five consecutive years of record U.S. sales. Moving forward, Yoshinaga says Subaru will invest in dealer service facilities to help enhance customer satisfaction and grow new-vehicle sales. On the product front, Subaru is developing a new seven-seat SUV to replace the aging Tribeca. While Yoshinaga has not yet decided where to build the vehicle, he knows where he will sell it. Yoshinaga spoke through an interpreter with Automotive News Asia Editor Hans Greimel July 2 in Tokyo.
