Tom McDonald, a Michigan car dealer, dies at 84

Tom McDonald

SAGINAW, Mich. -- Tom McDonald, a Michigan car dealer, died May 18. He was 84. In 1980, he bought Garber Pontiac-Cadillac, which became McDonald Pontiac-GMC. The group has five stores in three counties.

Eddie Robbins

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Eddie Robbins, a Texas car dealer, died May 28. He was 76. He owned Robbins Toyota in Texarkana for 48 years.

Del Spitzer

DALLAS -- Del Spitzer, who expanded his father's dealership to a 30-store group, died May 2. He was 86. Spitzer took over his father's Grafton, Ohio, store at age 18. Spitzer Management has dealerships in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania.
