Follow the GM recall hearings on autonews.com

Automotive News on Tuesday will offer industry-leading multimedia coverage of the General Motors recall hearings before a U.S. House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on www.autonews.com.

Washington correspondent Gabe Nelson will be on Capitol Hill while reporters Mike Colias and Nick Bunkley will be following testimony from Detroit. On Twitter, our coverage will appear under the hashtag #GMrecallAN.

Go to autonews.com for streaming video of the hearing, which starts at 2 p.m. Eastern. GM CEO Mary Barra will testify along with David Friedman, acting administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

AutoNews Now, hosted by Tom Worobec, will provide special, expanded coverage for its newscast audience. The show will be posted and emailed at its usual time, around 4 p.m. ET. The show will be updated and resent to its daily audience following the conclusion of the hearing.
