NAAA, National Remarketing conferences to join in 2016

The annual National Auto Auction Association convention and the National Remarketing Conference will merge into a single event in 2016.

The National Remarketing Conference/NAAA Convention is to be held during Used Car Week, held every November under the auspices of Cherokee Automotive Group, the publisher of Auto Remarketing. The first joint meeting is to be held at Red Rock Casino, Resort, Spa in Las Vegas.

Dave Angelicchio, a past NAAA president, spearheaded the effort to combine the event. He said attendees will benefit from the convenience of participating in both conferences without incurring additional travel expenses. One registration fee will cover both conferences.

Ron Smith, Cherokee chairman, said the new relationship with NAAA further enhances the value and importance of Used Car Week.

Among the events held during Used Car Week are the CPO Forum, Sub-Prime Forum and a session dedicated to vehicle repossession, recovery and remarketing.
