Honda CEO aims for record U.S. sales

Honda CEO Takanobu Ito anticipates U.S. sales to hit a record this year, exceeding a 2007 peak of 1.55 million units. Honda's growth in the region is expected to get a boost from the Fit subcompact hatchback and crossover coming from an assembly plant in Celaya, Mexico, that opens next spring.
