Chevy store respects, retains staffers

Garber Chevrolet in Midland, Mich., prefers developing and promoting existing employees, rather than looking for outside talent. As a result, several staffers have worked at the store for more than 20 years. Team members also find themselves at the center of the dealership's social media efforts – which highlight birthdays, anniversaries and employee-appreciation picnics. Garber's reputation in the community has even led customers to apply for jobs at the store.
